The educational philosophy of Vernon Christian School is based on a God-centered view of man and truth as presented in the Bible. As an educational institution, Vernon Christian School exists to prepare students for leadership and service by providingthe best in spiritual, intellectual, practical and physical development within a Christian learning community.

The Elementary Campus (EC) welcomes students from Pre-Kindergarten to Grade 6. The full size gymnasium is part of the EC campus and is shared with the Secondary Campus (SC). The EC has a complete Apple computer lab which is networked with the classrooms as well as the SC. All classrooms and LA rooms have networked computers as well. The EC has 2 LA rooms as well as a music specialty room. The EC library has a wide range of books, DVDs and other resources. More than 11000 books and resources make up VCS’s library collection.

The Secondary Campus (SC) welcomes students from grades 7 to 12.  The doors to this campus opened up the Winter/Spring of 2004. Both Middle School and High School models are run from this campus. Middle School serves students from grade 7 to grade 9, while High School serves students from grade 10 to grade 12. Specialty rooms like the Biology/Chemistry Lab, Home Economics Lab, Tech Lab and Media Lab seek to integrate the academics with technology. The media lab houses the Visual Arts Media program. Networked Apple computers as well as other audio/video equipment are used during this time. The SC library is increasing in resources adding books, dvds and software titles on a daily bases. A wide open Commons Room, which over looks Swan Lake, is a place where chapels are held and where daily gatherings and student interaction occur.
